Never say never

Today I sent a resume to an area newspaper. I haven't decided how I feel about that yet. I've been out of work for a year and this job is something I could do. No idea about pay but it's a large-size paper so we'll see. I'm not expecting a callback.

I was, however, very surprised by the little jolt of excitement I got at the prospect of working at a newspaper again. That was entirely unexpected.

I guess I'm just plain sick. :)
